Workplace PSA Testing

In partnership with The Graham Fulford Trust

At No Rubber Gloves, we believe that every workplace has the power to protect lives by making health screening more accessible. That’s why we’ve partnered with The Graham Fulford Trust to deliver onsite PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) testing, educational resources, and confidential one-to-one support directly to your employees.

Why it matters

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. The numbers speak for themselves:

  • 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.

  • For Black men, the risk rises sharply to 1 in 4.

  • Men over 50, those with a family history, and those of African or Caribbean descent are at significantly greater risk.

  • Tragically, over 12,000 men die every year from prostate cancer in the UK.

And yet, there is good news: when prostate cancer is detected early, treatment outcomes are excellent. More than 90% of men survive for at least 10 years when diagnosed at Stage 1 or 2.

This is why making PSA testing accessible in the workplace is so vital. By removing the barriers of time, travel, and stigma, we can empower more men to take charge of their health.

What we offer companies and organisations

Our workplace programme is designed to be simple, discreet, and effective. We provide:

  • Safe and Confidential PSA testing onsite — carried out by trained professionals which are a mixture of private and NHS staff.

  • Educational resources and health talks — raising awareness of risk factors, symptoms, and the importance of early detection.

  • Optional one-to-one consultations — giving employees the chance to speak privately with healthcare professionals about their results or concerns.

This service can be delivered as a standalone Health Awareness Day or integrated into your existing Occupational Health Campaign, with minimal disruption to your operations.

Benefits for your organisation

By hosting workplace PSA testing, your company will:

  • Demonstrate proactive care for your workforce, fulfilling a duty of responsibility towards employee wellbeing.

  • Promote a culture of health awareness and self-care that extends beyond the workplace.

  • Reduce long-term costly absences by helping staff identify potential health issues before they become serious.

  • Enhance your reputation as a socially responsible employer that invests in its people.

A simple step that saves lives

For many employees, PSA testing at work may be the first time they engage with prostate cancer screening. That single test could lead to an early diagnosis — and potentially save a life.

Partnering with No Rubber Gloves makes it easy for your organisation to deliver this vital service. Together, we can protect men’s health and create safer, healthier workplaces.
